Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Near Roseville, CA
Pay Rate: $26 - $33/hour DOE

Ledgent Finance & Accounting, a Roth Staffing Company, is partnering with a growing and well-established construction company near Roseville to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys owning the accounts payable process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle accounts payable, invoice processing, three-way matching, and weekly check runs. Candidates with payroll experience are highly encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Process high-volume invoices from receipt through payment
- Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions
- Complete accurate three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
- Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Prepare and process weekly check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval workflows
- Support the accounting team with reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Full-cycle AP experience required
- Experience with three-way matching and weekly check runs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Payroll processing experience is a plus
