This is not a role for someone who wants to operate from the sidelines. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on leader who can influence at the executive level while being deeply involved in HR activities and staying connected to the people and teams that make Fieldpiece successful. You’ll lead a small team to accomplish transformational HR initiatives across talent development, organizational design, workforce planning, on/off-boarding, total rewards, and global HR operations - all while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in humility, accountability, and growth. You'll have responsibility for our employees in the US, EMEA, and Australia.This position requires being on-site every day in our current Orange, CA office with an exciting move to Tustin, CA in 2028. Travel up to 15% is anticipated.What You’ll Do:HR LeadershipPartner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectivesLead and mentor a team focused on human resources, employee relations, learning and development, office management, total rewards (compensation, benefits, and culture), talent acquisition, onboarding, and compliance.Drive organizational design, change management, and culture initiativesChampion the Fieldpiece Culture and Ways of Working across all locations.Talent Development & L&DDesign and implement leadership development and succession planning programs to build organizational capabilityFoster a high-performance, growth-oriented cultureWorkforce PlanningLead workforce planning initiatives to ensure the organization is equipped for future growthUse data-driven insights to guide hiring, retention, and talent allocation strategiesCompensation & BenefitsOversee total rewards strategy including compensation, benefits, and incentive programsManage healthcare renewal and ongoing relationships with vendors (self-insured experience a plus).Manage sales incentive programs that are aligned with company growth targetsCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and international labor laws and regulationsPartner with legal teams on employee relations, policies, and risk mitigationManage employee policies, compliance with required training programs and safety programsGlobal HR LeadershipSupport and expand global HR operationsNavigate regional employment laws, cultural nuances, and operational complexitiesManage employee experience and drive engagement within the full employee lifecycleOffice LeadershipBe the site leader for the California office and ensure the office runs smoothly including facilities, safety, rewards, etc.What Makes You SuccessfulYou're equally comfortable discussing business strategy in the boardroom and coaching leaders through real-world people challenges. You have the vision to think long-term, the courage to challenge the status quo, and the humility to build trust across all levels of the organization.Most importantly, you believe that great cultures don't happen by accident - they are intentionally built, strengthened, and sustained through strong leadership and continuous development.Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree (MBA, HR, or related field) preferred8–10+ years of experience at a senior level in Human Resources at a growing company, with at least 3 years on an executive team at a VP level or higherProven experience leading HR operations in a complex organization, with locations in North America, Europe and AustraliaData-driven mindset with experience using HR analytics, and experience rolling out AI programs across a dispersed workforceExperience optimizing HCM systems (Paycom, Workday, etc.)Strong background in:Talent development and leadership programsWorkforce planning and organizational designRecruitment and onboardingTotal Rewards - compensation and benefits strategyLearning & Development (L&D)HR compliance and employee relationsDemonstrated global HR experience, particularly in EuropeStrong business acumen and ability to influence senior leadershipExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsCertified in DiSC, Korn Ferry, and/or Hogan is a plusWhy You'll Enjoy Working at FieldpieceAs a privately held company, we invest for the long term—in our people, our products, and our future. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
