Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical assessments and interventions to clients facing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in virtual sessions and community settings.

• Collaborate with other team members to establish and achieve shared goals, fostering an environment of cooperation and mutual respect.

• Demonstrate sensitivity towards clients' diverse cultural traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles, adapting your approach accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based practices for conducting assessments and creating individualized care plans, ensuring linkage to appropriate support services.

• Conduct brief and effective treatment services, focusing on prevention and recovery strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Manage a caseload that includes assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling, with a focus on empowering clients through informed decision-making.

• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of their needs and treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring timely and effective responses to clients in distress.
\n
• Participate in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and improving overall quality of care within the agency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LCSW will specifically focus on individuals within the Fontana community who are navigating mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other serious emotional disturbances. Emphasizing a trauma-informed approach, you will engage with clients who may face barriers to accessing mental health resources due to socioeconomic factors. Attending to both the immediate and long-term needs of this population is crucial for enhancing community well-being and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

• Expertise in assessment processes, risk management, and crisis intervention strategies pertaining to mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with diverse populations is preferred, ideally in a community health or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
