Job Title
Primary Purpose: To work with the public, students and school personnel answering and routing questions and messages, and to aid the secretary in running an efficient and positive office.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work with the public; ability to deal with children Ability to work with interruptions Ability to make good judgments and decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet, etc. Excellent organizational and mathematical skills Excellent communication skills
- Experience: Some experience working with school-aged children; possess public relations skills
Equipment Used: Multi-line phone system; standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Working Conditions:
- Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
- Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Pay Grade: AS201 Pay Rate: Min. $14.50; Mid. $17.48 Days: # of days 210
