About the Role:

Join Elite Dermatology as a Medical Receptionist in Houston, TX, where you will be the welcoming face of our practice. We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to help create a positive experience for our patients while supporting our dedicated team of dermatology professionals.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes.

Schedule appointments and manage the provider’s schedule efficiently.

Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and treatments.

Process insurance verifications and manage patient records accurately.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.

Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing phone calls.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical reception preferred.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with patients.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
