ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2025 and currently lead a growing team of three. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked as a farmer. I was looking for a career that offered more opportunity, balance, and long-term growth, which ultimately led me into agency ownership.

Im a graduate of Texas A&M University and will be getting married in the next few months. Family and community are both very important to me, and Ive worked to build that same mindset into the agency culture.

Jacob Farmer - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
