Receptionist

Job Title
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To work with the public, children and school personnel answering and routing questions and messages, and to aid the secretary in running an efficient and positive office
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma/GED
Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work with the public; ability to deal with children; the ability to work with interruptions; ability to make good judgments and decisions; confidentiality
Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
Organizational and mathematical skills
Bilingual preferred
Experience: Some experience working with school-aged children; possess public relations skills
EQUIPMENT USED: Multi-line phone system; standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting May work prolonged or irregular hours
Pay Grade: AS201 Pay Rate : Min. $15.00; Mid. $18.07 Days : # of days 187
