Forensic Engineer

Ideal candidates will specialize in construction defect investigations and forensic investigations, or a design engineer looking to pivot into forensics. Role Overview The Forensic Engineer will support lead experts across a range of forensic engineering activities, including field investigations, engineering calculations, design and document review, observation of destructive testing, and evaluation of construction drawings and specifications. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role suited to someone who enjoys problem‑solving and wants a path toward a lead expert / consulting role over time. Active, clean P.E. license in Texas (other active state licenses considered) Demonstrated design experience within their discipline (Civil or Structural) Experience serving as Engineer of Record on contract documents, plans, or specifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel within-state, with potential for regional travel Prior forensic engineering experience, particularly involving property loss or similar evaluations Interest in transitioning from a design-focused career into forensic engineering Fundamental knowledge of engineering analysis and building code requirements A collaborative, team‑oriented working style Ambition to grow into a lead expert/consulting role over time #J-18808-Ljbffr
