Azure Systems AdministratorTransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a skilled and adaptable full-time Azure Systems Administrator to join our IT/Infrastructure Department. Possible office locations include: Harrisburg, PA; Union, NJ; Ashburn, VA; Houston, TX and San Diego, CA.Job Summary: This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates well, and maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude. The Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting, managing, and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, while working closely with team members across various departments.Salary Range: $90 - 110k, based upon qualifications and experience.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, Entra and on prem AD, backups).Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring high levels of uptime and security.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud-based and hybrid solutions.Maintain documentation and system records.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Adapt to shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging business needs.Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Azure-related issues.Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and changes.Required Skills and Experience:5 - 10 years of relevant work experience.Proven proficiency with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management.Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and security within Azure environments.Skilled with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management.Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + Azure) is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a changing environment.Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.Clear, confident communication and a positive, proactive attitude.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304).Experience working independently with small teams and shared responsibilities.Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration and administration.Education:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment.Flexible work culture where contributions are visible and impactful.Supportive team with a focus on personal and professional growth.About TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering:TransCore is dedicated to making surface transportation more efficient through innovation.
