NY Licensed Commercial Real Estate Attorney

A sophisticated, collegial law firm has an immediate need for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney on contract engagement. Extensive experience representing lenders, developers, owners, and investors in complex commercial real estate transactions is required. New York licensure is required.Requirements for the NY Licensed Commercial Real Estate Attorney:8+ years of attorney experienceSubstantial experience with sophisticated real estate finance transactionsExperience with acquisitions, dispositions, development and leasingStrong communication, drafting, and negotiation skillsLicensed to practice law in New YorkJ.D. from an accredited law schoolOutstanding referencesPosition Details:Type of role: Contract engagement or contract-to-hireSchedule: 6+ months; full time (part-time candidates will be considered)Location: Hybrid in Midtown ideally; remote candidates will be consideredCompensation:Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $250,000 to $290,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
