Step into a dynamic school-based contract role providing speech-language pathology support in a vibrant educational setting. This engaging opportunity spans from the start of the academic year and runs through November, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact with diverse student populations. You’ll serve students across both a Junior High and an Elementary school, as well as cover a high school maternity leave, ensuring continuity of care and fostering communication skills among learners at key developmental stages.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in schools or with a pediatric population preferred
• Strong organizational skills; ability to balance caseload split between multiple campuses
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt to evolving student needs and manage transitions between school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as indicated by IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel onsite between assigned campuses in the district according to scheduling needs
• Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
