Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in the area. This position involves providing specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia following various procedures. The role requires a focus on patient safety, monitoring vital signs, and managing post-operative care within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); minimum 2 years of experience in a PACU setting; experience in pre- and post-operative care of operating room, gastrointestinal (GI), interventional radiology (IR), and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU); must have travel experience and proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC). Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts with scheduled start times between 0600 and 0800, totaling minimum 40 hours per week. Call requirements based on department needs, including 1-2 shifts per week, every third weekend, and rotating holidays. Additional Information: Position may require floating onsite within the credentialed skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
