Assured Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, flexible Employment Type: Travel Responsible for the admission and pre-operative care of the surgical patient. Records baseline hemodynamic status gathers pre-operative vital signs; Blood Pressure, EKG monitoring, oximetry readings and documentation of such on pre-operative record. Identifies arrhythmias and notifies medical team members of findings. Reviews Post-operative instructions with patient. Actively involves the patient or designated support person in decisions affecting his or her post-operative plan of care. Care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. Monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia. Assess the patient and resources and plan for the scheduled surgery. Assist surgeons and other health care professionals with outpatient surgery procedures.
