Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour night shifts, from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team for night shifts. Blood bank experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will start on July 28th.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required records, reports, and statistics as directed.
• Ensure competency documentation is current and easily accessible.
• Perform quality control and preventative maintenance, documenting the process appropriately.
• Accurately enter test results in the laboratory computer system.
• Document actions taken for critical values and unusual situations clearly.
• Maintain neat, legible, and organized records for test results, maintenance, calibrations, and quality control.
• Complete appropriate action forms for problems and notify supervisors of any issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
