Inside Sales Representative

Brookhaven Instruments Corporation | Nashua, NH Brookhaven Instruments is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support sales of scientific instruments used to measure particle size, zeta potential, and molecular weight. This role combines customer relationship management, sales support, and proactive follow up to help grow revenue and deliver an excellent customer experience. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work closely with sales and applications colleagues to understand customer needs, prepare quotations, and support the sales process from initial inquiry through order processing and ongoing service. What You’ll Do Achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives and revenue targets. Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, website, and CRM. Understand customer requirements and coordinate technical questions with sales and applications colleagues. Partner with Sales Managers to prepare accurate quotations and support order management. Maintain current CRM records, including customer contacts, opportunities, and communication history. Help maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast. Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities. Proactively contact customers about service, maintenance, and recurring instrument support needs. Collaborate with Accounting to support timely customer payments and improve receivables performance. What You’ll Bring At least three years of experience in inside sales or remote selling. An associate’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A customer focused approach, initiative, and the ability to follow through independently. Proficiency with CRM systems. Experience selling scientific instruments, analytical instrumentation, laboratory equipment, or test and measurement technologies is preferred. Familiarity with Shopify or Acumatica and Spanish language proficiency are additional assets.
