Product Manager

About The Role The role drives the vision, strategy, and execution for core platform APIs and developer-facing infrastructure. Operating at the critical intersection of business strategy and technical execution, the position is responsible for transforming complex technical requirements into scalable, reliable platform products that power external developer ecosystems and internal application teams alike. The product manager will collaborate deeply with distributed engineering squads, technical writers, and product marketing to define product roadmaps, manage the lifecycle of developer services, and continuously measure adoption and platform health through rigorous telemetry and data analysis. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the multi-quarter product roadmap for developer-facing APIs, SDKs, and platform services based on user research, developer feedback, and business goals Translate complex platform requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams Establish, track, and report on key product success metrics, including API latency, developer activation rates, platform uptime, and retention metrics Partner with developer relations, technical writers, and product marketing to produce high-quality documentation, onboarding guides, and SDK tools Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings, serving as the core product owner within an agile development framework Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging developer tools, API standards, and infrastructure patterns to keep the platform ahead of the industry What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of product management experience, specifically managing technical products such as APIs, SaaS platforms, developer tools, or cloud infrastructure Strong technical background with the ability to read code, query databases using SQL, and understand system architecture designs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) Proven track record of launching and scaling technical products from initial concept to GA release, serving thousands of active developers Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners and executive stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly analytical and technical field, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with AWS/GCP cloud services, building developer ecosystems, or holding a CSPO / agile product owner certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
