Occupational Therapist (OT) - Adventist HealthCare Home Health

Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) servicing in our Silver Spring, Rockville, or Southern Maryland Territory! We're seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:

• Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency's accepted policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
• Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administer and supervise occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
• Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement, and access treatment programs.

Qualifications include:

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Maryland Occupational Therapy Licensure.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements.
• One to three years' experience preferred.
• One year home care experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Days
• Weekend Requirements: Once per month
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating within the team

Pay Range: $34.58 - $51.87

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
