Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leader in energy management and industrial automation, is hiring an HR Generalist to join their team in Lancaster, NY!
**This is a 4-month W2 contract with benefits**
As the HR Generalist , you will partner closely with site leadership to drive key HR initiatives across multiple nearby locations, supporting talent management, employee relations, and overall people strategy execution within a manufacturing/operations environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with site leadership to drive key HR functions including employee relations, performance management, engagement, and total rewards
- Lead full-cycle hourly recruiting (sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding) across multiple locations
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations matters , including conflict resolution, discipline, and performance issues
- Support organizational development initiatives such as training, succession planning, and workforce planning
- Execute HR programs and ensure consistent implementation of company policies, while leveraging HR data to support business decisions
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related field
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations environments
- Strong experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, especially for hourly roles
