Overview We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant / CPA to join our team in High Point, NC . The Tax Accountant / CPA will provide essential support to a growing accounting firm in High Point , handling individual, business, and corporate tax filings while ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulations. This position allows hands-on client interaction, workflow management, and contribution to strategic tax planning initiatives in High Point, NC . Candidates must hold a CPA license or be actively pursuing certification. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations in High Point, NC. Ensure all tax filings comply with current federal, state, and local regulations. Advise clients on tax planning strategies, deductions, and methods to reduce liabilities. Analyze client financial records to uncover potential tax issues and planning opportunities. Collaborate with team members to manage workloads efficiently and maintain quality standards. Communicate with clients regarding tax filings, document requirements, and inquiries. Stay informed on changes in tax law affecting clients in High Point. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in tax accounting within public accounting. CPA license required or actively pursuing certification.
