Occupational Therapist (Home Health) | Flexible Schedule | Metro Detroit AreaJoin an Award-Winning Home Healthcare Team

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout the Metro Detroit area.

This is a contingent position offering a flexible schedule and competitive compensation. Therapists are paid $85 per one-hour evaluation and $85 per one-hour visit . If you're looking for meaningful patient relationships, greater autonomy, and work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills
Educate patients and family members on treatment techniques, safety, and home modifications
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards
