We offer excellent opportunities for highly motivated individuals in a fast-paced, high tech environment.General Purpose of Job: Self-motivated, energetic individual to fabricate parts for machine builds and to support manufacturing departments.Executing work orders communicated by Manufacturing Coordinator.Scheduled Preventative Maintenance of Machining CentersCut and Make Ready Materials for Work OrdersMachining of Parts based upon Drawing SpecificationsSet-Up and Tear-Down of Machining CentersInspection of PartsCommunicating with Team Members on Timelines and Part ModificationsSpecific Requirements: Qualified candidate must have high level of knowledge and experience in mechanical assembly and machining facility. Ability to read mechanical equipment drawings a plus. Candidate must demonstrate excellent organization & time management skills, along with the ability to communicate and problem solve with fellow Steeger team members. Minimum 2 years technical training and 5 years of experience working with manual machining equipment, CNC mills and CNC lathes. Basic knowledge of CNC programming required.
