State Licensed Employee Benefits Counsel

Serving as a key compliance advisor, the full-time remote State Licensed Employee Benefits Counsel will monitor and interpret laws impacting employee benefits products, provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders, and support product development and compliance initiatives. Key responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and interpret state and federal laws affecting statutory Paid Family & Medical Leave and other employee benefits products Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to business stakeholders regarding product and operational matters Support the development and administration of employee benefits products, including conducting regulatory research and managing compliance documentation Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Approximately five years of relevant professional experience or equivalent Strong legal research and analytical skills Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
