UAM Project Manager (North Carolina based)

Description Overview The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of utility services projects. This role oversees resource allocation, leads a team of up to 25 technicians, and manages team development, customer engagement, and the achievement of production, quality, and safety objectives. It requires a balance of operations management, field leadership, and client relations to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of our customers. Responsibilities Project Management Oversee the full lifecycle of utility services projects, from planning through execution and close-out. Resource Management Optimize personnel, equipment, and other resources to maximize productivity and meet project goals. Anticipate and resolve resource conflicts in a fast-paced environment. Team Leadership Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence. Lead field crews by setting expectations, providing support, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Strategic Oversight Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth and efficiency. Make strategic operational decisions to align company and client objectives. Customer Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for utility customers throughout the project lifecycle. Develop strong relationships by providing responsive communication, proactive updates, and solutions to challenges. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, driving long-term satisfaction and repeat business. Quality & Safety Ensure all projects and employees meet safety requirements and company quality standards. Proactively monitor compliance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Drive scheduling, budgeting, and project reporting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Requirements Associates degree in operations management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years of progressive experience in operations management, project management, or utility/field services.
