What You’ll DoAs our Assistant Coffee Roaster, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every batch of coffee meets our high standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the roasting process to produce consistent, high-quality coffee.
- Monitoring and maintaining roasting equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Helping with inventory management, including tracking green coffee and roasted beans.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and refine roast profiles.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
We’re seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant role (coffee roasting experience is a plus!).
- A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn more about the craft.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move bags of coffee (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
