Registered Nurse - South Mountain Restoration Center (2nd & 3rd Shift)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides skilled nursing care in a long term care setting, ensuring that residents receive safe and appropriate treatment. The role requires careful assessment, teamwork, and a commitment to high quality service. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties: Resident Assessment: Evaluate resident conditions and determine care needs based on ongoing observations Care Coordination: Organize and guide nursing interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Medication Oversight: Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring resident responses Staff Guidance: Support and direct non professional nursing staff through instruction and on the job training Documentation Accuracy: Prepare clear written and oral reports to support communication and compliance Safety Practices: Maintain a therapeutic environment by applying infection control and emergency response procedures Interested in learning more? Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, 30‑minute lunch) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no lunch). Rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. Rotation includes every other weekend off. Overtime and travel as needed.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $93,888.00 (before taxes). However, the following special and other requirements apply: Necessary Special Requirements This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
