Director of Business Development

Leading the development and growth of collaborative and commercial opportunities, the full-time Director of Business Development will engage with biopharmaceutical and medical device industries to maximize value for the institution while managing a high-performing team and navigating complex challenges in a hybrid onsite/remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop data-driven collaboration and commercialization strategies that align with institutional priorities Lead opportunities throughout the business development life cycle, including prospecting, negotiation, and relationship management Establish strategic alignment among internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external partners to ensure successful execution of business development projects Required qualifications Advanced degree in business administration, health administration, public health, biomedical science, or equivalent Ten years of successful experience in business development, strategy, or operations, with significant deal negotiation experience in the biopharmaceutical industry Five years of leadership experience Strong project, time, and people management skills to handle multiple transactions effectively Established network of contacts within biopharmaceutical and non-profit organizations
