This is a field-based Outside Sales Representative opportunity with an existing customer base, repeat business and plenty of room to continue building new accounts. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your market day to day, backed by experienced branch leadership, engineering resources and operations support. Why join us? Competitive base salary + uncapped commission Guaranteed commission during ramp, paid on top of base salary Established local market with existing accounts and repeat business Field-based schedule with roughly one day per week in the branch Local customer travel within your market, not a heavy overnight-travel role No weekend email culture and genuine emphasis on work-life balance Strong technical differentiation from competitors Company is in its strongest growth period in history, with continued expansion and headcount growth Significant promotion runway and strong internal retention Structured onboarding, sales training and ongoing development Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays and vehicle reimbursement Job Details Manage and grow an established customer base while developing new business Build relationships with industrial, construction, commercial and municipal customers Spend the majority of your week in the field meeting customers, visiting jobsites and identifying upcoming opportunitiesDevelop new accounts while expanding relationships and revenue within existing customers Understand customer needs and recommend the right rental equipment and service solutions Partner with internal engineering and operations teams on more technical customer applications Prepare pricing, quotes and rental proposals and close new and repeat business Coordinate with branch operations on equipment availability, delivery schedules and job requirements Maintain customer activity, opportunities and pipeline information within the CRM Participate in industry events, trade associations and local business-development activities Desired Qualifications 3+ years of successful outside, field or territory-based sales experience Proven experience developing new business while growing existing customer accounts Experience selling into equipment rental, construction, industrial, infrastructure, municipal or similar B2B markets Comfortable building relationships through face-to-face customer meetings and jobsite visits Self-directed and comfortable managing your day without constant supervision Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and closing skills CRM experience Equipment rental, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, pumps, dewatering, water/wastewater or heavy civil experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
