Location: Columbus, OH

Start Date: 11/02/2026

End Date: 02/01/2027

Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Contract

Licensure/Certs: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM) required

Experience: Previous Sterile Processing experience in a trauma or busy hospital setting preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $32.88

What You'll Do

• Decontaminate all surgical items including drills, scopes, and DaVinci instruments
• Assemble instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaner sets
• Operate sterilization equipment (sterrad and steam sterilizers)
• Manage high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing
• Maintain sterile storage areas and inventory
• Collaborate with OR teams as a liaison for sterilization needs
• Use Censitrac tracking system to monitor instrument and supply flow
• Experience with Medivator equipment is required

What You Need

Required:

• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA/IAHCSMM)
• Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience in a high-volume facility
• Experience with scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection
• Ability to work scheduled evening shifts and rotate weekends/holidays

Preferred:

• Trauma hospital experience
• Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system and Medivator
