Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed).

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 16

Requirements

• Valid nursing license with active status.
• 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department, including some pediatrics experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand).
• Experience with EMR system: EPIC.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Driver's license with an address matching demographics.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in triage and manage patient flow in the unit.
• Utilize specialty equipment effectively such as rapid infusors and Arctic Sun.
• Care for diverse patient populations including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Compliance / Notes

RTO must be included at the time of submission. Floating may be required. Scrub color is navy blue.
