A well-established company in the security systems and monitoring industry, specializing in alarm systems, surveillance, and access control services, is seeking a bookkeeper to join its team. This role is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day bookkeeping operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial records.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in bookkeeping, with the ability to manage routine accounting functions independently while supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Process vendor invoices, payments, and customer billing
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
• Track expenses, revenue, and cash flow
• Ensure accuracy and organization of financial documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
