We develop and produce UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) for a variety of customers all over the world.We are looking for a senior engineer with power electronics and grid experience to support the system level design of UPS products and the design of the controls and interaction with the grid and system level design. Support the overall system design and interaction of productsDevelop and adapt closed loop control systems for high power converters, such as inverters, rectifiers and DC/DC. Conduct and coordinate complex analyses, develop recommendations based on technology/engineering practices and business considerationsSupport sales organization with modeling of engineered to order systemJob Qualifications:Masters or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with thesis in Power Electronics and Micro GridsMastering of high speed real-time closed loop control systemsUnderstanding of power semiconductor characteristics, inductors and passive componentsExperience with power electronic design topologies, knowledge of UPS technologyExperience in modeling of utility grid or microgrid systemsUnderstanding of grid codes such as ERCOTUnderstanding of power systems modeling and stability analysisUnderstanding of electrical circuit protection devices such as breakers and fusesMastering simulation tools -MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, PLECSGood communication skills in English, both oral and written.
