Live Ops Signal Distribution Coordinator

- Support the setup configuration and troubleshooting of live event feeds
- Troubleshoot contribution and distribution streams working with 3rd party vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
- Partner closely with the P teams to help deliver highquality productions
- Learn and apply IP transmission and IP video workflow fundamentals
- Help investigate document and communicate root cause analysis for stream interruptions or anomalies
- Use scripts and APIs to automate monitoring reporting and routine operational tasks
- Provide support and feedback to other departments as an inhouse video resource
- Assist engineering teams in troubleshooting more complex higherlevel issues
- Support testing and configuration of new systems and workflows
- Perform updates during scheduled maintenance windows
- Help create and maintain SOPs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science Engineering or knowledge of OTT video distribution contribution technology and architecture
- Comfort working with APIs and writing scripts Python Bash or similar to support automation and integration tasks
- Familiarity with Linux CLI
- Foundational understanding of digital audio video concepts compression streaming formats and distribution
- Interest in live video workflows either cloud or onprem
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated by fastpaced highstakes environments and eager to learn on the job
- Willingness to work flexible hours including some nights weekends to support 24*7 operational needs

- Familiarity with video transport protocols RTP RTMP SRT HLS MPEGDASH or codecs AVC HEVC AAC
- Exposure to cloud platforms AWS GCP etc
