About the Role: The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring employees follow safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout the solar module manufacturing process. This role provides hands‑on leadership, supports production employees across multiple stations, troubleshoots production issues, monitors workflow, and ensures materials and equipment are properly maintained to meet production goals. Responsibilities: Lead and support production employees during daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and productivity standards are consistently met Monitor production lines and equipment to maintain efficient workflow and minimize downtime Train employees on production processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and elevate concerns when necessary Ensure materials are loaded properly and coordinate replenishment with material handling teams Review inspection and EL test results, coordinate rework when needed, and ensure product quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Oversee daily operations across all production areas including Stringing, Layup, Material Handling, EL Inspection, Framing, Cleaning, Soldering, and Packing Ensure finished products are properly packed, labeled, wrapped, and prepared for shipment Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing or production experience required Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred Experience in solar manufacturing or automated production environments is a plus Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed Schedule: Training hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Upon completion of training, the schedule will transition to a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. Location: Training will be conducted at our Cypress, TX facility.
