Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established standards.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for various tests, as required.
• Thoroughly document all protocols, mentor new employees or interns, and work to maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a tidy, secure work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation regulations.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification from ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
