Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology, Neuroscience

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology to conduct mouse-based pharmacology studies supporting neuroscience drug development. The role involves performing dosing procedures, surgical techniques, and molecular assays to evaluate drug candidates for neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo pharmacology studies in mice with IV, SC, IP, and PO dosing
- Perform stereotaxic surgery and tissue collection from CNS and peripheral tissues
- Execute and analyze pharmacodynamic and efficacy assays including qPCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry
- Maintain detailed experimental records and ensure reproducibility of results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years academic or industry experience
- Extensive mouse handling and common dosing route expertise
- Proficiency in molecular biology or biochemical assays
- Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with commitment to scientific rigor
Compensation: $97,120 - $117,688
