Senior Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology, Neuroscience

Senior Associate Scientist position within the Neuroscience Therapeutic Research Center focused on in vivo pharmacology studies. The role involves conducting mouse pharmacology experiments, stereotaxic surgery, and analyzing pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic readouts to support neuroscience drug development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo pharmacology studies in mice including dosing, tissue collection, and processing
- Perform and support stereotaxic surgical procedures in rodent models
- Execute and analyze PK/PD assays including qPCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and physiology measurements
- Coordinate activities with internal team members, cross-functional groups, and external contract research organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of research experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years experience
- Extensive mouse handling experience including common dosing routes and tissue collection
- Proficiency in molecular biology or biochemical assays such as qPCR and Western blot
- Background in mouse genetics and/or neuroanatomy
- Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery
- Strong organizational and communication skills with scientific rigor
Compensation: $105,040 - $127,287
