Chief Operating Officer

Position Summary

An established industrial manufacturing company seeks a hands-on COO to lead manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution across multiple locations. This executive will improve profitability, strengthen leadership teams, and align operations to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
\n
• Drive Lean manufacturing, process improvements, and operational consistency.
\n
• Manage budgets, capital investments, inventory, and working capital.
\n
• Strengthen procurement, supplier performance, and production planning.
\n
• Lead facility consolidations, operational relocations, and acquisition integration.
\n
• Develop leaders and build a culture of accountability.
\n
• Improve ERP utilization and operational reporting.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership, including multi-site responsibility.
\n
• Experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or comparable industrial executive.
\n
• Proven success improving profitability and operational performance.
\n
• Strong financial, supply chain, and Lean manufacturing skills.
\n
• Experience transferring operations between facilities preferred.
\n
• Industrial equipment, tooling, chemicals, or consumables experience preferred.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; regular travel required.
