Job Details Core Responsibilities Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis: Design, maintain, and monitor standard costing systems, bill of materials (BOM), and routing accuracy. Analyze the root causes of material, labor, and overhead variances. Financial Reporting & Month-End: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS. Lead the month-end close and prepare commentary on monthly results. Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, excess and obsolete (E&O) reviews, and manage fixed assets/CapEx. Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with department heads to build annual budgets, cash flow projections, and forward-looking forecasts. Internal Controls: Implement and enforce financial policies, audit processes, and risk management procedures to safeguard assets. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Typically 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years specifically in a manufacturing or production environment Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
