Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, strategically minded Salesforce Solutions Architect to serve as the principal platform owner and technical authority for our Go-To-Market (GTM) technology stack. In this senior leadership seat, you will own the end-to-end design, scalability, and long-term maintainability of our core CRM systems and down-stream software integrations. Balancing high-level roadmap strategy with hands-on system building, you will manage a dedicated team of system specialists, configure robust CI/CD pipelines, and author mission-critical code patterns. This track demands a seasoned consultant who can translate dense technical hurdles into concrete business logic, minimizing tech debt and platform friction across the entire enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Strategy & Architecture: Design and govern memoryBlue’s global Salesforce architecture, defining scalable integration patterns, object relationships, and unified data standards across the GTM tech stack.
• Hands-On Software Engineering: Act as a player-coach by contributing directly to complex programmatic builds, reviewing team pull requests, and developing custom layers using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL queries .
• CI/CD & Release Automation: Implement and scale enterprise deployment pipelines, establishing version control repositories, testing baselines (Unit, Integration, UAT), and automated release controls using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce DX .
• API & Middleware Integration: Build and optimize real-time data connections between Salesforce and external business software using custom REST/SOAP API structures and automated middleware like n8n or Zapier .
• Governance & Security Modeling: Define and enforce our overarching Salesforce security posture, managing system access parameters, encryption profiles, sharing rules, and **GDPR data compliance loops**.
• Squad Leadership & Sprint Management: Lead, mentor, and foster individual career pathing for a high-performing squad of systems specialists, overseeing sprint planning, ticket prioritization, and technical capacity boundaries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of verified professional history running enterprise Salesforce system architecture, complex CRM rollouts, or senior-level full-cycle software delivery.
• Deep technical expertise writing programmatic components natively via **Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows**.
• Proven tracking experience building API-driven data integration workflows utilizing modern design patterns and automated middleware engines.
• Hands-on operational knowledge configuring declarative version control pipelines and continuous integration mechanisms.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation mechanics, with a demonstrated capacity to manage senior stakeholders and describe complex systems logic in plain business language.
• Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational framework restricted exclusively to qualified platform architects permanently located within the United Kingdom .
