What You'll Do

As an Associate Attorney, you'll play a key role in representing clients, leading legal strategy, and helping drive the continued success of our Family & Criminal Law practice.

Your responsibilities include:

• Represent clients in Family Law and Criminal Defense matters, including child custody, adoption, DUI/DWI, assault, and related cases.
• Conduct approximately 15–20 client consultations per week, maintain a 35–40% conversion rate, and generate about four new client engagements weekly.
• Manage an active caseload while delivering high-quality legal representation and client service.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, courts, agencies, and internal team members.
• Track case progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) through regular meetings and accurate case reporting.
• Improve workflows by leveraging technology, delegating tasks effectively to paralegals and support staff, and collaborating with leadership to achieve firm goals.

Qualifications

Required

• Licensed and authorized to practice law in Tennessee
• Minimum of 4–5 years of Family and Criminal Law experience
• Strong litigation experience
• Experience with mediation and negotiations
• Excellent legal research and legal writing skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organization and time-management abilities
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred

• Experience mentoring or coaching junior attorneys
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (not required)
