Registered Nurse

Job Family: Nurse Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse. This role will provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute on Aging. The scheduled hours are Sunday through Thursday 2PM-10:30PM (night shift) with as needed coverage for Holidays. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Baltimore, MD. Plan, implement, evaluate and document care provided, per protocol requirements and good clinical practice standards. Perform testing procedures on night shift as required per protocol or schedules. Insert and maintain peripheral access intravenous (IV) lines as needed. Incorporate research protocol requirements into the delivery of care for participants in support of the research efforts. Assists Nurse Practitioners evaluate and make recommendations to improve patient care and adhere to good clinical practices. Teach patients and families about conditions, treatments and medications.

What You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Associate’s Degree in Nursing PLUS TWO (2) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in Nursing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred. What Would Be Nice To Have: Previous experience with the National Institute of Health (NIH). Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
