Property Accountant

Property Accountant Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company located in the Irvine area. Ideal candidates have prior real estate industry experience and are familiar with Yardi or MRI. Responsibilities & Qualifications Manage property accounting for a portfolio of holdings. Drive month‑end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR). Respond to audit requests and special projects. Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses. Perform month‑end activities, journal entries, general ledger and account reconciliations, and accruals. Analyze accounts to review monthly flux and variance analysis between actual and budget. Preferred experience with MRI/Yardi and strong Excel skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
