Property Accountant

Property Accountant Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company in the Irvine area. Responsibilities Perform property accounting for a portfolio of holdings. Drive month‑end close processes, including bank reconciliations and journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR). Respond to audit requests and manage special projects. Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses. Execute month‑end activities such as journal entries, GL and account reconciliations, and accruals. Conduct account analysis, reviewing monthly flux data and variance analysis between actuals and budget. Qualifications Prior real estate industry experience; familiarity with Yardi or MRI preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Property Accounting or related field. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MRI/Yardi. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
