Technical Sourcer, Engineering

Overview Tesla is looking for an exceptional sourcer to join our recruiting team to partner with our Powertrain & Energy Engineering teams. You will hire top engineering talent responsible for developing next generation products, automated manufacturing lines, and the “machine that builds the machine”. Recruiting at Tesla is challenging and hiring timelines are often compressed, but the work is exciting and impactful to our mission. This role is 100% onsite in either Palo Alto, CA or Fremont, CA. What You'll Do Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop an intimate understanding of the business and their open roles Develop sourcing strategies and talent mapping to effectively build a robust pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates to meet goals Take a data-driven approach to calibrate sourcing strategy and business expectations as needed Partner with recruiters to provide consistent updates to hiring managers and business leaders Identify, attract, and hire top talent using recruiting tools Provide an excellent candidate interview experience Conduct thorough behavioral interviews to assess role and company fit Efficiently and simultaneously manage more than 20 niche positions Qualifications 1 or more years of sourcing recruiting experience Experience and familiarity with recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Gem, ATS systems) Proven background in using creative research and sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and difficult roles Experience with sourcing for any engineering field (e.g., manufacturing, software, mechanical, electrical, etc.) Experience creating and maintaining healthy relationships across all functions of the company Experience working through ambiguity and high-pressure to meet challenging deadlines Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience Benefits Medical plans with plan options and $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, with options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salaried positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Compensation Expected Compensation: $64,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
