Registered Nurse – Obstetrics
Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, every third weekend. Responsibilities include working in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum on a rotational basis.
On call for the remainder of the shift if staffing is low, with a requirement to arrive within 30 minutes if called in.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing.
At least 3 years of experience working in Obstetrics, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery.
Current BLS certification.
Current NRP certification.
Current STABLE certification.
Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
Establish and communicate a collaborative plan of care based on assessment data.
Implement and evaluate the plan of care, modifying as necessary based on reassessment.
Document all care provided according to established standards.
Assess patient's readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.
Participate actively in departmental initiatives and committees.
Provide age-appropriate care according to specific population needs.
