Job Description As a School Social Worker with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students Direct-Hire Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F 10-month position following a school calendar No contract, come back school year after school year! Menta Academy Dekalb 912 is a collaboration with Dekalb Community School District 428 andlike other Menta programs utilizes a unique curricular framework that relies on the Expanded Menta Method and Trauma Informed Practices as the foundational principles for the teaching, counseling and mentoring work done by our highly trained staff. Every aspect of the framework supports students with attainment of graduate competencies. Our curriculum is personalized to meet the needs of each student, with technology and skilled teachers creating a dynamic learning environment.
