Customer Sales & Freight Brokerage Representative - U.S. Market

About the Role

Hippo Logistics LLC is expanding its U.S. freight brokerage and logistics team in Belgrade and is looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the U.S. freight and logistics industry .

The primary focus of this role is customer acquisition and business development . You will be responsible for identifying potential U.S. shippers, reaching out to decision-makers, building relationships, presenting our freight brokerage services, and converting prospects into long-term customers.

We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially driven, persistent, and comfortable with outbound sales and cold calling .

This is not an entry-level position . The ideal candidate already has experience selling freight, logistics, transportation, or related services to the U.S. market and understands how to turn prospects into active customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and research potential U.S. shippers and new business opportunities

· Conduct outbound sales and cold calls to prospective customers

· Contact decision-makers and present Hippo Logistics' freight brokerage services

· Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

· Understand customers' transportation needs and present appropriate logistics solutions

· Generate new accounts and consistently build and manage a strong sales pipeline

· Follow up with prospects through calls, email, and other communication channels to move opportunities toward closing

· Prepare and negotiate freight rates, customer quotes, and margins

· Work closely with the brokerage and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

· Maintain accurate prospect and customer information and sales activity in the CRM system

Mandatory Requirements

· Minimum 2 years of proven experience in freight brokerage within the U.S. market

· Proven experience working with U.S. customers, shippers, or transportation companies

· Hands-on experience in outbound sales, prospecting, and cold calling

· Proven ability to identify potential customers, reach decision-makers, build relationships, and close deals

· Good understanding of the U.S. freight and transportation market

· Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

· Excellent English , both spoken and written

· Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales activity records

· Self-motivated, persistent, proactive, and strongly results-oriented

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
