EE/CS Patent Agent - Chicago/Other Locations

A leading law firm is actively seeking a Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group . This is an extraordinary opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in electrical, and software-related fields. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, along with a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
Preferred experience includes patent prosecution in Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning , 5G-Telecom , Robotics and Semiconductor Manufacturing and Packaging .

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields .
2+ years of experience in drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications in electrical, and software-related technologies.
Eligibility to practice before the USPTO .
Strong academic credentials, writing ability, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Anticipated Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to 240,,000 , commensurate with qualifications, skills, location, and relevant experience.
