Accounting Administrator Location San Diego, CA Pay Rate $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Responsibilities Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices and billing statements Process accounts receivable transactions, apply payments, and monitor outstanding balances Assist with accounts payable functions, including invoice entry, coding, reconciliations, and vendor communication Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account variances Reconcile daily cash activity, deposits, and financial records Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and financial records within company systems Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer service and administrative support Prepare reports and assist with operational and financial documentation Maintain confidentiality of financial, personnel, and business records Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure accurate and timely processing Support additional accounting, administrative, and office duties as assigned Qualifications Previous accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or accounts payable experience required Strong billing and invoice management experience required Experience processing payments and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records required Basic accounts payable experience, including invoice processing and vendor communication Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail, organization, and data entry accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with account reconciliations and financial recordkeeping preferred Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Benefits Earn a steady income for keeping records right Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Optional 401(k) retirement plan Perks and discounts that help your bottom line Build experience and move forward as an Accounting Administrator The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
