Electrical Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for our products/projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems, components, and productsCreate detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagramsPerform circuit analysis and calculationsDevelop and conduct testing procedures for electrical systemsTroubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutionsWrite technical documentation and specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineersEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulationsSupport product development from concept through productionEvaluate and select electrical components and suppliersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering3+ years of experience in electrical engineeringProficiency in circuit design and analysisExperience with PCB design and layoutKnowledge of electrical safety standards and regulationsFamiliarity with CAD software and simulation toolsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent project management abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with power electronics and control systemsKnowledge of embedded systemsFamiliarity with programming languages (C, C++, Python)Experience with signal processing and communicationsPE license or ability to obtain within specified timeframeTechnical Skills:Circuit design software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad)Simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB)Test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)Microsoft Office SuiteThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
